Ernie Stotesberry, 56, of 45 Academy Street, Swan Quarter died Thursday November 12, 2015 at his residence.

Born in Beaufort County, February 28, 1959 he was the son of Roland Stotesberry and the late Christine Sadler Stotesberry. He was married to his wife, Sherry Mann Stotesberry for 23 years.

Ernie loved his family, working on the water and deer hunting.

The family will receive friends at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter on Saturday November 14, 2015, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his father and stepmother Roland and Karen Stotesberry of the Ponzer community; three daughters; Stacey Stotesberry of the home, Brandi Graham and Candi Stotesberry both of Waynesville, GA; a brother Curtis Stotesberry of Swan Quarter; two sisters, Lisa Stotesberry of La Bella, FL and Susie Stotesberry of New Bern; five grandchildren, Destiny, Kaitelyn, Alexis, Haley and Dalton.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a sister in law, Lisa Friddle Stotesberry.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Swan Quarter Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 97, Swan Quarter, NC 27885.
