This week’s Pets of the Week are located at Pamlico Animal Hospital, 3005 John Small Ave., Washington. Hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch), and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

Chilly

This gorgeous, brown-and-ebony, shorthair Tabby with pale green eyes is a 1-year-old, rescued, spayed female. Chilly could be an indoor/outdoor cat, and she would be very happy as the only pet in the home. She is very friendly and playful but not recommended for a family with young children. Litter box trained, Fiv/Felv tested and fully vaccinated, Chilly is ready and waiting to go to her good and loving, forever home. She is located at Pamlico Animal Hospital.

Puppies

Warm, soft and friendly, these sweet pups will put a smile on your face and a glow in your heart. At 2 months old, these little ones want tummy rubs, attention and fun. Altogether, there are three: two males and one female (one not photographed). All looking similar, these Rottweiler-Shepherd-mix puppies will be spayed and/or neutered, fully vaccinated and dewormed. These puppies will grow to be large and will need loving, forever homes and families willing to spend the time to exercise them in a fenced-in area or on a leash, and give them basic obedience training to enable them to thrive. They are available at Pamlico Animal Hospital.
