The Way Off Broadway Players of Belhaven will present David Bottrell and Jesse Jones’ satirical comedy, “Dearly Departed,” on March 10-12 at 8 p.m. in the theater on Pamlico Street.
The play is a hilarious satire about the South. Everyone has seen or heard of the types of people and situations that are presented in the play. The satire attacks adultery, fanaticism, welfare, child bearing, funerals, “bubba thinking,” parenting and marriage in a thoroughly enjoyable manner.
The cast and crew are as follows: Vicki Armstrong, Mary Wahab, Zachary Stevens, Dean Armstrong, Mara Coltrain, Aaron Stevens, Macy Morgan, Landon Woolard, Noah Cahoon, Jewel Cook, Sam Patti, Aidan Budge, Keira Budge, Fran Coleman, Butch Jones, Logan Van Staalduinen and George Wahab.
