John Cotten Tayloe students earn math, reading awards

JOHN COTTEN TAYLOE AWARD WINNERS: Christie Hardee's second-grade class at John Cotten Tayloe earned math and reading awards for the second nine weeks. Pictured from left are Calek Smaw, Chad Bright, Victor Barrera, Mathew Bishop and Lanaya McKinney. These five students earned a medal for their hard work during Accelerated Reading. This was determined by averages, number of books read, number of tests passed, and reading on a given level. Chad also received a medal for the highest math average in class. Lanaya also received a medal for the highest reading average in class. Great work, JCT students!
