King and Sweets

Loving attention and tasty snacks, these terrier/pit bull–mix canines were at one time housemates. King is an 11-month-old, large fellow with a white and gray shorthair coat. Sweets is a year-and-a-half-old, medium-sized female, with a white and black shorthair coat. Both dogs are friendly and get along well with each other in the same kennel. Volunteers at the shelter observed that Sweets did not test well at all with other dogs, and King was questionable with other dogs. Their recommendation was that King and Sweets either be adopted together or be adopted individually, as the only dog in the household. King and Sweets have been residents of the shelter for a length of time and they are very active and enthusiastic. They need owner(s) willing to spend time with them, exercise them in a fenced-in area or on a leash, and give them basic obedience training. Come in and spend a little time with them. They are available through Saturday at the shelter.
