Betty T. Mann, 84, a resident of the Vintage Inn of Williamston, N.C., went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2016.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Biggs Funeral Home at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will also be receiving guest at other times at the home of Kenneth and Pearl Teeter.

Mrs. Mann was born to the late James S. Teeter and Sylvia R. Teeter of Livingston, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Mann of Caneseraga, N.Y., and her brother Vernon C. Teeter of Washington, N.C. Mrs. Mann is survived by her brothers, Kenneth R. Teeter and wife, Pearl of Williamston and Robert E. Teeter and wife Cindy of Dansville, N.Y

Mrs. Mann worked as a legal secretary in Genesee, N.Y. until she retired and moved to Washington, N.C. in 1998 and eventually moved to Williamston in 2010. She enjoyed meeting new people and enjoyed life to it’s fullest. She loved to dance, even more so in her retired years. She was an avid collector of many things and loved to frequently visit antique flea markets. In her retirement years she continued to find new hobbies. She loved to play golf, needle point, take long walks on the water front and volunteer to assist with the handicapped.

Flowers are welcome or donations can be made to the American Breast Cancer foundation.
