Beaufort County students inducted into SERV Society

Parrott Academy’s SERV Society (Students Effectively Realizing their Value) recently inducted 172 members, representing 70 percent of the high school student body. The students inducted into SERV this year gave a total of 13,192 hours of community service. Individual hours ranged from the minimum of 12 to more than 400. The academy had 61 students who volunteered over 100 hours of community service, earning the national designation of Presidential Service Scholars. The Beaufort County inductees were: Thomas Perry and Patrick Mayo.
