Better eating class at Belhaven Seniors’ Center, 10 a.m. Instructor Peggy Bonner. 274 E. Main St., Belhaven.

Seniors exercise class with instructor Peggy Bonner every Tuesday and Thursday at the Belhaven Seniors’ Center, 274 E. Main St., Belhaven, at 10:30 a.m. The class is free, but small donations per class visit are appreciated. Call 252-943-2992 for more information.

“Growing A Fit Community” program, every Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 150 Swamp Road, Pantego. Healthy Living includes discussion of social issues, including environmental, Spanish and English teaching, juicing, line dancing and exercise classes. All interested seniors, call 252-943-3822.

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 1

Hyde Correctional Institution Job Fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 620 Prison Road, Fairfield. Valid photo ID and appropriate clothing are required to participate in a tour. Apply for a correctional officer position at www.oshr.nc.gov. For more information, contact Rita Woods at rita.woods@ncdps.gov.
