Timothy R. McPhee
March 14, 1941 – April 26, 2016

Mr. Timothy Robert O’Neil McPhee, age 75, a resident of Grimesland, NC, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Cody McDaniel, Eric Draper, Scott Munnings, Bob Marsch, Josh Bolafka and Mike Bolafka.

The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.

Mr. McPhee was born in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, on March 14, 1941, son of the late John J. McPhee and the late Edna O’Neil McPhee. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. On June 14, 1972 he married the former Mary Susan Parker who survives. Following his service in the U.S. Navy he was an over the road truck driver and worked for Deaton Trucking out of Birmingham, AL.

Surviving along with his wife Susan of the home are two daughters: E. Paige Marsch and her husband Robert of Rock Creek, OH and Jennifer S. McDaniel and her husband Scott Munnings of North Ridgeville, OH; three sons: William F. Moore of Galesburg, IL, Daniel McPhee and his wife Shirley of Boston, MA and Michael McPhee of Boston, MA; three brothers: John McPhee and his wife Shirley of Boston, MA, Jay McPhee of New Hampshire and Jimmy McPhee and his wife Nina of Boston, MA; five sisters-in-law: Geraldine P. Bolafka, Norma Parker, Linda P. Daugherty, Shirley P. Hawks and her husband Greg and Debbie P. Morrisey and her husband Don; a brother-in-law: Bobby Parker and his wife Josephine; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mr. McPhee was predeceased by a daughter: Deborah Ann McPhee.
