Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Ladybird
Looking very elegant in her formal wear of black and white, this 1-year-old, sweetheart of a tuxedo cat is full of love and affection! Fascinating facial features include huge golden eyes and a little black nose with a fine white line on the tip — creating the illusion of a broken heart. Ladybird loves being held, showered with affection and lovey talk. With her demeanor of friendliness, calmness and gentleness, Ladybird will make a wonderful addition in a variety of good forever, loving, home settings. Roscoe
Handsome in his richly colored, soft black and brown fur coat, this approximately 2-year-old Shepherd-mix has a personality to match his good looks. Roscoe’s a smart, calm, gentle, well-behaved, happy boy, who loves people, attention and treats. He’s in need of loving owner(s) who will provide him with attention and basic obedience training and exercise in a fenced area or on a leash.
