Mrs. Delphia Lee Young-Basnight, 79, of 918 Hortontown Road, Roper, NC, passed away May 10, 2016 at her residence. Viewing was Friday, May 13, 2016, from 7-8pm at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, 300 Woodlawn Rd., Roper. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 1:00pm at First Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 3010 Woodlawn Road, Roper, and officiated by Rev. Wayne Welch Jr. Committal service will be in Basnight Family Cemetery, Roper.
