Foundation awards grant to Boys & Girls Clubs

Goodwill Community Foundation has made a $55,000 investment in Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain. This grant will directly benefit more than 450 youth in Greenville, Snow Hill, Kinston, Robersonville, Washington and Belhaven. Representatives from Goodwill Community Foundation joined club executives for check presentations at the Washington Unit in Beaufort County and the Jarvis Unit in Greenville.

Goodwill Community Foundation continues to be a leader in an era of change by providing the training required for the emerging world where technology is integrated into everyday life. The mission of Goodwill Community Foundation is to create and provide education, employment and life-enrichment opportunities regionally, nationally and internationally for people who desire to improve the quality of their lives.

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. There are five clubs located throughout Pitt County, two in Beaufort County, one in Lenoir County, one in Martin County and one in Greene County serving more than 1,200 members daily.
