Jerry E. “Buster” Woolard Jr.

Mr. Jerry “Buster” Eugene Woolard Jr., age 44, a resident of 3023 N. Market St., Washington, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday, June 10, 2016 at Oakdale Cemetery and will be officiated by Rev. Linwood W. Lewis.
Mr. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on March 15, 1972 to Jerry Eugene Woolard Sr. and Mary Price Woolard who survives. He was a 1990 graduate of Washington High School, was employed at the Country Shoppe and at Pamlico Distributing with his dad through high school and was employed with Walmart for 13 years. Buster loved playing with his nieces and nephews in events such as bike riding, baseball, skateboarding, and he really enjoyed walking and going to the gym. He spent his youthful years as a mentor to his nieces and nephews in all athletic activities. Buster spent his last two years working on wood home projects for family, loved ones and friends. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, cared for his cats and Monday night wrestling. He made the public confession to accept Christ in the late 1990s.
Survivors include his mother, Mary P. Woolard of the home, two sisters, Barbara W. Sullivan of Williamston, Teresa W. Taylor and husband Scottie of Pinetown, a brother, Josh Woolard of Raleigh, and six nieces, Linda Foreman, April Sullivan, Danielle Sullivan, Megan Sullivan, Amber Taylor, Brittany Rohrer and a nephew, Blake Price.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Eugene Woolard Sr.
