Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Jaylee

Sweet, loveable and friendly, that’s our approximately 3-year-old Rottweiler-mix. Jaylee is a smart, gentle, happy, people loving, treat-eating girl. A medium-size, attractive dog with a shorthair coat of black with caramel colored accents — Jaylee, loves affection and attention. But she’s way too thin and needs owner(s) willing to give her love, good food, attention and exercise in a fenced area or on leash, and basic obedience training. Jaylee deserves a good, loving forever home where she can be a faithful companion and pet.

For more photos/video, visit www.facebook.com/ENC Shelter Dogs/ID#1213. Come in and meet her; she’s available through the following Saturday at the shelter.

Flower

At 3 months old, our Flower has the innocence of a baby. With eyes wide open, Flower quietly takes in her world — finding it a bit bewildering. Flower is friendly, gentle and in need of loving, attention, cuddling, conversation and someone to play with. Her medium-length coat is soft to the touch and attractive with tabby stripes and markings in dark brown, buff and pristine white. With tender loving care, affection and attention — in a good forever home, Flower will blossom into an outstanding pet, playmate and companion.

Come in and play a little with Flower; she’s available through the following Saturday at the shelter.
