Hallet W. Webster

Mr. Hallet Ward Webster, age 76, a resident of Pinetown, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Free Union Free Will Baptist Church and will be conducted by Pastor Tony Parrish. Burial will follow in the Webster Family Cemetery. Hank Keech, Warren Brinn, Lawrence Jackson, Norman Waters, Dennis Webster and Derek Webster will serve as pallbearers.

Laco Ramirez and Peter Kurlenko will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Webster was born in Beaufort County on November 12, 1939 to the late Hallet and Grace Crumpler Webster. On June 2, 1962 he married Gloria Jean Black who survives. He was a farmer and then was employed with Waters Logging for 35 years. Mr. Webster was a member of Pinetown Church of Christ and attended Free Union Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria B. Webster of the home, his daughter, Renee Webster Armstrong and husband Delbert of Belhaven, two granddaughters, Allison Armstrong, Gibsen Armstrong and one brother, George Webster. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kirby Webster.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Greater Pamlico Chapter of the American Red Cross, 135 N. Market Street, Washington, NC 27889.
