Ronald J. Cinocca

Mr. Ronald Joe Cinocca, M.D., age 66, a resident of Chocowinity, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Friday, August 5, 2016 at Bishop Funeral Home, 11- S. 3rd Street, McAlester, OK 74502.

Mr. Cinocca was born on September 23, 1949 to Edward Cinocca and the former Jennie Olandese. He attended Oklahoma City University for his undergraduate and went on to Vanderbilt University for his Doctorate degree in Internal medicine. Mr. Cinocca moved to North Carolina in 1975 to begin his career in the medical field and moved to Beaufort County in the early 2000s. He was a member of the Cypress Landing Home Owners Association. Mr. Cinocca had many hobbies including cooking, travelling and playing bridge with his friends. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to go camping and fishing. Mr. Cinocca was a collector of antiques and had accumulated a large collection over the years. He loved his family and his companion, a Jack Russell Terrier named Willy.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Edward Cinocca and wife Misty of Broken Arrow, OK, Nathan Edward Cinocca of Hilton Head Island, SC, two grandchildren, Destyne Lee Cinocca, Alec Thomas Cinocca of Broken Arrow, OK, his mother Jennie Olandese Cinocca of McAlester, OK, a sister Janice Cinocca Rumbaugh of McAlester, OK, and a niece Jennfer Labarge of Houston, TX.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Cinocca.
