Mrs. Jane Voliva Latane, age 64, a resident of Washington, died Friday, August 5, 2016 at Rex Hospital of Raleigh.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, officiated by Pastor David Linton.

The family will receive friends 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mrs. Latane was born in Beaufort County on November 21, 1951, daughter of the late Edward L. Voliva and the late Faye Bateman Voliva. On October 5, 1985 she married James Binford Latane who survives. She worked as a social worker with the Beaufort County Department of Social Services.

Surviving along with her husband James of the home is a son: Jon Latane of Durham; a brother: Edward L. Voliva Jr. of Raleigh and a sister: Pam V. Crutchfield and husband James of Brwyn, PA.
