COLUMBIA, S.C. — Steven Taylor Hooven of Evans, Georgia, graduated magna cum laude with a juris doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in the 2016 commencement ceremony held on May 6. While at USC Law, Hooven was a member of the competition Mock Trial Team and was inducted into the Order of the Wig and Robe for his rank in the top 10 percent of his class. He will begin work at the firm of Fulcher Hagler LLC in Augusta, Georgia, in September.

Hooven is the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Dwayne Hooven of Evans, Georgia. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Rhodes of Washington Park, and Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Hooven Jr. of Kernersville, North Carolina. He and his wife Meredith reside in Evans, Georgia.
