Marvin Edward Hassell, 75, of Roper, died Friday, September 16, 2016, at Washington County Hospital in Plymouth.

Funeral service was held Monday, September 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Roper Pentecostal Holiness Church with Danny Nelson officiating. Burial followed in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family received friends on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roper Pentecostal Holiness Church and other times at the residence of his sister, Rita.
