Rose Allen Fisher Sharpe, 93, of Greensboro, passed away peacefully at Wesley Long Hospital on Nov. 25, 2016. There will be a graveside service for the family at Lakeview Memorial Park. Sincerest appreciation is extended to the staff at Wesley Long Hospital and Friends Homes West for their loving care and support.

Rose was born Dec. 21, 1922, in Swan Quarter, to Urban Banis Fisher and Margaret McGowan Fisher. The youngest of three daughters, she was truly proud to be a member of the Greatest Generation.

She served her church and community with love and loyalty her entire life.

Rose is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Rich Morin of Washington, and Emily and Mike Gross of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren Jen Morin, Leigh Morin Johnson, and Megan Gross White; great-grandchildren Lola, Ben, Eli and Holland.

The family will hold a visitation at Friends Homes West, 6100 W. Friendly Ave, on Monday, November 28, at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Guilford Park
