Employees of PotashCorp-Aurora made a special delivery to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Washington on Dec. 9: toys — and lots of the them. An employee toy drive at the phosphate-mining company supplied hundreds of toys for the Toys for Tots campaign, which were then distributed to children in need in Beaufort County. Each year, once local needs are fulfilled, any leftover toys are donated to fill gaps in neighboring counties. According to Toys for Tots coordinator, Beaufort County donations are enthusiastically given, as can be seen in these photos of Potash Corps employees, along with collection coordinator Mary Parker Lyle, delivering gifts to the church.
