The Inner Banks Music Academy’s Christmas recital was held Dec. 17 in Wesley Hall at First United Methodist Church. The 2 p.m. recital featured piano, voice and show choir students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The 4 p.m. recital featured piano and voice students from sixth through 11th grades. A program of delightful Christmas music, both old and new, was presented. A reception followed of “milk and cookies” or punch. Christmas gifts of red, monogrammed toboggan hats were presented by Neva Cashion to each of the students.
