Dorothy Marie Smallwood Coffey, 82, of 3490 West Road, Aurora, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Pruitt Health-Neuse, New Bern. Her funeral service is 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 885 Highway 306 North, Grantsboro. The interment will follow at Whitehurst Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Thomas and Adele Coffey, 871 Peed Town Road, Aurora. Viewing hours are Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Oscar’s Mortuary and Saturday at noon at the New Bern Missionary Baptist Association headquarters. Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary, Inc.
