Victoria Elizabeth Whitehurst, 6, of Washington, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

Victoria was born on January 9, 2010. She attended the first grade at Bath Elementary School.

Surviving include her mother Tamela “Tammy” Waters Sides and her fiancé Larry Mitchell Ball Jr. of Washington; her maternal grandmother Nan Edwards Miles of Belhaven; her paternal grandparents Jeannie Twiddy Whitehurst and William Charles Whitehurst of Pinetown; her siblings: David “D.J.” Sides Jr. of Washington, Christina Alexis Sides of Washington, Kandy Ann Whitehurst of Blounts Creek, Whitney Irene Whitehurst of Pinetown, Brook Lynn Whitehurst of Havelock; her step-siblings: William James Ball, Wyatt Mitchell Ball and Allyson Hope Ball, all of Randleman, NC; and many cousins and other extended family members.

Victoria was preceded in death by her father William “Billy” Isaac Whitehurst and her maternal grandfather Ralph Albert Miles Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Graceway Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Linwood Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Edwards Family Cemetery in Chocowinity. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
