Ernest Dempsey “Happy” Elks, 79, of Plymouth died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at Three Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Windsor. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, with Pastor Leonard Bowers and Pastor Sherman Branch officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
