Mr. James Lawrence Alligood Jr., age 74, a resident of Ridgewood Manor Nursing Center of Washington, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Asbury United Methodist Church of Washington. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of his son, James “Petey” Alligood III, located at 1550 Old Bath Hwy., Washington.
