Sandra Earl Freeman, age 73, died Thursday evening, Jan. 19, 2017, at Pruitt Health in New Bern, NC.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Johnnie L. Houston. The family will visit with friends following the service at the graveside.

Sandra was born in Beaufort County on Aug. 25, 1943, daughter of the late Earl Washington Freeman and Julia Mae Warren Freeman. She worked as a nurse’s aide when her health permitted.

Sandra is survived by her sisters: Cheryl Buck and husband Lamon of Washington, and Sylvia Freeman Davis and husband Joe Eric Davis of Greensboro, and her brother: Warren Freeman and wife Teresa of Washington.
