From Martin Community College

Martin Community College is pleased to release the names of students on the President’s and Dean’s lists for the fall 2016 semester. To make the President’s List, a student must have achieved a 4.0 GPA for the semester and have taken a minimum of 12 credit hours. Dean’s List students must have achieved at least a 3.5 GPA for the semester and have taken a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Four MCC students from Beaufort County made the President’s List: Jordan Horne, Hollyanne Rogers, Lanie Smith and Samantha Yates.

Two MCC students from Beaufort County made the Dean’s List: David Chandler and Thomas Wilson.

MCC President Dr. Brian Busch stated, “We are so very proud of these students. They exemplify what true scholarship is all about: hard work, commitment and, above all else, a love of learning. I congratulate them all on their great accomplishment!”
