Nancy Rose Lawrence Briley, 77, of Edenton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Vidant Chowan Hospital.

A celebration of Ms. Briley’s life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Edenton Church of God with Pastor Donald Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. They will also receive friends on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the home of Judy and Jack Lawrence, 102 Oakridge Drive in Edenton.
