John Churchill Gorham Jr., 70, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on March 2, 2017. He was born October 1, 1946 in Washington, to John Churchill Gorham Sr. and Edna Ross Gorham.

John is survived by his wife, Sandra Evans Gorham; daughters, Merideth Gorham and Sallie Barber (Stephen); and brother, Steve Gorham (Sandra Cochran).

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, and at home.

A memorial service will be held 2pm Monday, March 6, 2017 at North Raleigh United Methodist Church, 8501 Honeycutt Road. The family will have a graveside service at Selma Memorial Gardens.
