Tyson Lawrence Such, age 3, of Greenville, NC, peacefully gained his wings surrounded by family on Sunday, March 12, 2017. He was born on January 6, 2014 to his parents Travis and Jessica Such.
While he never spoke a word, Tyson taught us all so much about what is really important in life — unconditional love, patience, compassion and empathy. While we knew that Tyson’s life would be brief, we were very blessed to have had 3 wonderful years with him. He will forever be remembered for his gentle soul and contagious smile.
A brief visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Wesley Hall at the First United Methodist Church in Washington followed by a celebration of his life at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Steven Such, Mitch Weaver, Seth Manning and Adam Manning will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be George Johnson and Lee Manning.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Keith Manning “Papa” and Betsy Beamon “Granny,” of Washington; paternal grandparents, Larry Such “Grandpa” and Loan Such “Bà nội,” of Clayton, NC; maternal great-grandparents, Ruby and Carlton Manning of Washington; maternal great-grandfather, William Wallace of Washington; paternal great-grandparents, Joe and Rita Such of Raleigh, NC; paternal great-grandmother, Cuc Dinh of Raleigh, NC; Uncle Steven Such of Raleigh, NC; Aunt Mandi White and husband Cameron of Hickory, NC; Uncle Seth Manning of Washington; Uncle Adam Manning of Washington, as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
