Mrs. Annette Sawyer Midgett, age 55, a resident of Pinetown, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Friday, March 24, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be conducted by Dan Simpson. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Midgett was born September 26, 1961 in Washington County to Joseph and Virginia Carol Reason Sawyer who survive. On May 19, 1999, she married Steven Bryan Midgett who survives. She was a 1979 graduate of Plymouth High School, received her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Martin Community College and was employed by Food Lion in Chocowinity for many years.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Midgett Equils and husband John of Bath; three sons, Jonathan Taylor and wife Calamity of Washington, Matt Taylor of Pinetown, Michael Midgett of Greenville; three brothers, Joseph Sawyer and wife Kerry of Houston, TX, Brian Sawyer of Plymouth, Alan Sawyer and wife Kelly of Cary; two sisters, Amy Bryant of Greenville and Sari Sawyer of Plymouth; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
