William “Terry” Baker

William “Terry” Baker, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 74.
He was born Feb. 21, 1943 and raised on a farm in Washington. He was the son of William Hilton Baker and Lucille Baker.
Terry worked at Newport News Shipyard for 44 years where he helped build some of the Military’s Historic Aircraft Carriers and Submarines. He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Susan Duffee Baker; son William Randy Baker; daughter Amy Baker Bobbitt and her fiancé Clyde W. Price; brother-in-law Frank Duffee; three grandchildren Madison, Jacob and Benjamin Baker of Chesapeake VA; mother Lucille Baker; brother Larry Baker; and nieces and nephews of Washington, NC, and Ohio.
