Ms. Faye McRoy Hill, age 76, a resident of 114 Cutlers Landing Road, Blounts Creek, died Thursday evening, May 4, 2017, at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Ephesus Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Michael Hill. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

Ms. Hill was born in Beaufort County on Feb. 27, 1941, daughter of the late Blaney Adam McRoy and Mildred Cutler McRoy. She was a 1959 graduate of Chocowinity High School. Ms. Hill was a homemaker and a member of Ephesus Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Jim Hill and wife Becky, of Blounts Creek, and her grandchildren, Tyler H. Citron and husband David, of Holly Springs, and Michael Hill, of Blounts Creek. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth McRoy, and her sister, Ann M. Cannon.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.
