Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Louise

Friendly, affectionate and smart — that’s our Louise. At 3 years old, this gorgeous Rottweiler-mix is a medium/large girl with a glistening black, shorthair coat with accents of brown. With a personality that is loving, calm and playful, Louise — following traits of this breed — is a “people” dog. She will do best with a loving, attentive and active family with owner(s) willing to give her obedience training, plenty of exercise in a preferably fenced area or on leash and good forever home.

Gorgeous in his American shorthair coat, this tabby boy is dressed in colors of the palest apricot with accents of darker orange featured on his face and magnificent tail.
