Mr. Gary Wayne Beacham Jr., age 32, a resident of Washington, died Friday, May 26, 2017.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Peace Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. David Thompson.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 1:45 PM Thursday at Peace Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the home of his sister, Kimery Gregory, 609 Cedar Lane, Iron Creek, Washington.

Mr. Beacham was born in Beaufort County on February 13, 1985. He was the son of Gary Wayne Beacham Sr. and Lorie Marie Cahoon Pate. Mr. Beacham graduated from Washington High School in 2003, where he played football for four years. He worked as an electrician. Mr. Beacham was a member of the Salvation Army Church. In his spare time, he loved playing basketball, spending time with his kids, watching movies and singing in church.

Mr. Beacham is survived by his fiancée, Kelly Woolard of Chocowinity; his children, Savannah Beacham, Justus Beacham, Jonas Beacham and Kastle Beacham; his father and stepmother, Gary Wayne Beacham Sr. and Toria Lloyd Beacham of Washington; mother and stepfather, Lorie Pate and Ed Pate of Washington; stepfather and his wife, Jerome and Pat Tyson of Washington; sister, Kimery Gregory and husband, Timothy of Washington; niece, Hayden Gregory of Washington; stepbrothers, Bradley Lloyd, Christopher Beacham, Jacob Tyson; stepsister, Heather Gibbs; step-niece, Emaleigh Cherry; step-nephew, Brayden Gibbs and his “four-legged brother,” Oreo.
