Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Sergent

At approximately 6 years old, this large, Shepherd–mix is a smart, friendly, handsome guy with a tan, shorthair coat. A calm and sweet dog who wants love, Sergent lost his home when his owner passed. He needs a good, loving forever home where he can be a faithful companion with owner(s) willing to give him affection, care and exercise in a fenced area or on leash.
