Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Hutson

This 2-year-old, large-size hound–mix is gentle, very friendly and sweet. Wonderful ears frame his handsome face, and a shorthair coat of black and white with red markings creates one goodlooking dude.

Hutson is fun, good with other dogs, appears to love people and engages them in play. He needs owner(s) willing to give good care, love, affection, attention and exercise in a fenced area or on leash, and some basic obedience training. Hutson deserves a good, forever home where he will be a faithful companion and pet.

Weasley

A handsome tabby boy wearing an American shorthair coat of brown and cream tweed, ebony stripes and pristine white facial highlights, set off by huge pale green eyes and a rosebud nose — that’s Weasley.

At 5 years old, he has a loving, very friendly and sweet personality. He gets along with small dogs and other cats; he’s been an indoor/outdoor cat; he’s a great hunter/mouser, according to his previous owner. Weasley is already neutered and ready to go — after a reduced fee is paid — to his good forever, loving home to be a faithful companion and pet.
