CHESSON BOUCHER, A 4-H CLOVERBUD, presented farm animal and barn shaped cakes to Tyrrell County Farm Bureau as a “thank you” for purchasing his goat in the recent 4-H Liverstock Show and Sale. Sixteen Cloverbuds were among the 39 participants this spring. “The 4-H program is an important part of the development of our county’s youth,” said Ginger Hassell, Farm Bureau’s customer service representative. “If your child isn’t involved in 4-H you might want to find a club in your community or call the Extension Office to locate one near you.” (courtesy photo
