Summer Programming at the Tyrrell County Public Library kicked off on June 21 with a program presented by Gary Shelton of New Bern.
Everyone was entertained with a comedy/magic act. Several children in the audience were chosen to assist with different tricks he performed during the program.
On Wednesday, June 28, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science will be visiting the library from 2–3 p.m.
Participants will be treated to an interactive program that will differentiate the characteristics between reptiles and amphibians and learn which features make each one of these animals unique.
This will be a free program open to kids of all ages. If there are any questions, please contact the library at 252-796-3771.
