John William Hopkins Jr., of Maple Street, Washington, formerly of Elm Street, Belhaven, died Dec. 1, 2017. A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at the Wilkinson Building, Main Street, Belhaven, with burial to follow at Northside Cemetery.

A viewing will be held at the New Beginning Funeral Home and Cremation, Washington, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday. The family is receiving friends at the Maple Street residence.
