Tyrrell County Sheriff’s officers on December 1 arrested three inmates at Tyrrell Prison Work Farm north of Columbia for felony possession of controlled substance on jail/ prison premises, Sheriff Darryl Liverman reported.

Jonathan N. Orr, 39, of Jacksonville possessed suboxone. Dennis G. Potts, 36, of Fayetteville possessed suboxone. Aaron B. Lane, 31, of Sanford possessed marijuana.

These arrests brings to 28 the total number of inmates that have been arrested on drug

charges at the minimum-security Tyrrell Prison Work Farm since May.

The investigation is ongoing, the sheriff stated.
