To the Editor:

On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and clients of Eagle’s Wings Food Pantry, I extend our sincerest thanks to the Washington Daily News for all of the wonderful publicity and articles you have published this past year about Eagle’s Wings Food Pantry.

During this and every Christmas season Eagle’s Wings receives many donations … both monetary as well as food items. But please remind readers that hunger is an everyday issue right here in Beaufort County. Not just at the holidays, but all days during the entire year, Eagle’s Wings works with our partners to obtain healthy food items, particularly fresh produce and meats, so that clients can have nutritious food options in our pantry.

Eagle’s Wings extends a grateful “Thank you” to all our donors for helping us help those who need food in our county!
