Mrs. Mary Ellen Fleming Jones Bosher, age 88, a resident of Old Blounts Creek Road, Chocowinity, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, conducted by Pastor Ray Webb.

Mrs. Bosher was born in Beaufort County on March 21, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Will and Rose Duster Fleming. Mrs. Bosher was a homemaker. She attended Christ Vision Church and Ephesus Free Will Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. In her spare time, Mrs. Bosher loved to work in her yard and garden.

Mrs. Bosher was married to Herbert H. Jones, who preceded her in death. Later, she married George Garland Bosher, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bosher is survived by her son, Bobby Ray Jones, of Yorktown, Virginia; and two grandsons, John S. Jones and Ryan W. Jones both of Yorktown.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, Mrs. Bosher was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
