Hope Jones Stanton, a long-time resident of Plymouth, died at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital on March 15, 2018, after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Plymouth, with Jimmy Hagwood officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 24, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery, Hertford. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
