Key Women hold annual scholarship banquet

The Key Women Inc. of the Washington Chapter celebrated its 22nd-annual scholarship banquet on March 10. This year’s honorees were Madam National President of Key Women Inc. Joyce W. Moore, for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the organization; and Washington Police and Fire Services Director Stacy L. Drakeford was recognized for his dedication and leadership in the community.
An excellent meal was prepared and catered by CJ Extravaganza Services (Charles Smith). Dr. Collier, a saxophonist, rendered music through the evening and St. Luke’s Praise Dancers entertained us as well.
Key Women is an organization that invests in our children and service for our community. All donations stay in our community and ensure that our children will reap from our scholarships. Our hope is, you will continue to invest in our organization, so we can give back to deserving children of our community.
