The National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) began in late March at Tyrrell Elementary School.

Scripture began a six-week curriculum with fourth and fifth grade students.

“Nearly everyone can enjoy success in archery whether or not they are the tallest, fastest, or strongest person around,” commented Dr. Will Hoffman, superintendent. “The sport or discipline of archery is highly inclusive and is for many enthusiasts, a lifelong activity.”

TES students learned the 11 steps of archery success including proper stance, draw, anchor, aiming, shot set up, and release.
