Albert Preston Toler

Albert Preston Toler, 74, of Ayden, formerly of Blounts Creek and Greenville, died from an automobile accident on Friday, April 13, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

Albert was born on March 12, 1944, in Beaufort County, son of the late Leland Preston Toler and Nina Bell Hill Toler.

Albert was employed with National Spinning, Flanders Filters, Collins and Atkins and Electrolux. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing pool and tinkering on cars.

Albert is survived by two sons, Albert Ray Toler and Roy Preston Toler, both of West Palm Beach, Florida; a sister, Bonnie Rae Toler Coleman and husband James, of Castle Hayne; a brother, Lavern Toler, of Ayden; one niece, one nephew, one great-niece and one great-nephew.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Francis Toler.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of Christine Bullock, 611 Charlotte St., Washington.
