The Eastern 4-H Center will host its annual Spring Open House on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone.

The day’s events will include crafts, climbing wall, archery, cupcake walk, bingo, and lunch with NC State’s Howling Cow ice cream.

All youth must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

The Spring Open House is a great opportunity for families to visit the center beside Albemarle Sound and learn more about its summer camp program.

“Anyone who pre-registers for any summer overnight camp or day camp program receives the 4-H County discounted price,” said Sara Lilley Phelps, the center’s marketing director. “These special prices are only available for registrations during the event.” For more information, call 252-797-4800.

The Eastern 4-H Center is at 100 Clover Way in northwestern Tyrrell County. Motorists on US 64 can take Exit 558 at Creswell or Exit 562 west of Columbia and follow the signs.
