Belle of Washington stops in Columbia

Passengers disembarked Sunday morning, May 13, from the Belle of Washington that brought them to Columbia as the climax of a three-day river town tour to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the founding of Albemarle County that originally covered all of what is now northeastern North Carolina. The tourists were greeted by Columbia officials and visited the town.
